On another note, I'm definitely not starting back to work until April now. Work approved another month unpaid. So that gives me one more month to make sure that Dylan's schedule is fixed (including resolving the swaddling issue) and to get 100% back on track with pumping...was having issues there for a while. Apparently I didn't "love my pump enough."
Dylan hasn't rolled again since our first night o' fun...acts like he doesn't remember how. But he is seriously improving his tummy skillz. He currently likes to kneel propped up on my stomach and look at things. I'll have to get a picture soon.
He's also giving us every sign that he's ready for solids. He watches us eat like he's watching a tennis match if he's sitting on our laps while we're eating. He's also started practicing his chewing. I actually gave him an empty spoon and he took it like a champ. I'm still planning on waiting another month to introduce solids - but we'll see what happens. I just might buckle under the pressure of his stare.
Everyone continues to ask me if he's teething. I have no freaking clue. He's been chewing on everything he can get his hands on (actually he prefers his hands) since he was 2 months old. But I'm told his new favorite trick is another sign of teething.
The picture doesn't do it justice...he looks like he forgot his dentures.
