Had our 6-month check-up on Friday. He weighs 16 pounds 12 ounces, is 26" long and his head is 17.6" (44.8cm) around. I didn't get the percentiles this time because I was too busy dealing with stranger anxiety.


















The doc performed the entire exam at a distance in deference to the stranger anxiety. He instructed me how to hold Dylan and then observed. Daddy held him for his shot, cuz I'm too big a wuss to do it...(really so that I can swoop in and rescue him from the big mean men.) G had a rattle to distract Dylan from the "stranger" approaching...and rattled it quickly after Dylan started crying. And he stopped...just that quickly. Only cried for a grand total of about 30 seconds. I guess the doc's right, the needle is the only thing that hurts with the 6-in-1 shot.
