So I've reentered the working world and despite my enormous blog backlog I'm skipping the cue to post (mostly cuz this'll be a quick one). Here's what I've realized in this first week post-maternity leave.
1. My feet don't like being in socks and shoes all the time. I didn't realize how much time I spent barefoot until I suddenly wasn't barefoot anymore.
2. My stomach apparently adapted itself to toddler eating habits. It's rough getting back on a 3-meal-a-day kinda schedule. I miss being able to graze all day long and am hungry most of the time. This might also be because breastfeeding has apparently made me a total porker this time around. G commented last night that I'm eating more than he is now...(and still losing weight, which is so awesome I can't even describe).
3. I feel short again. Apparently spending all my time around short people mistakenly led me to believe I'd suddenly become tall.
le sigh.
