After much intensive research I'm fairly well convinced that we're gonna go the cloth diaper route...Basically I'm liking the idea of less diaper rash, softer on his bum and cheaper in the long run. (I'm apparently still "American" enough that I'm less moved by the environmental arguments...oops).
In any case, this most recent surprising decision has made me realize how much I've surprised myself throughout this whole pregnancy-gig (up to and including the birth/newborn phases).1. I'm fairly impressed with the whole "run" of my pregnancy...no morning sickness, no real complications and most of all, no real hormones screwing with me - who'd'a thunk THAT?
2. Always figured I'd go for the "drug-me-up-Scottie" kinda labor...but the first hospital visit and talk with midwives has me convinced to try all the natural options first. (Not to say that I'm totally opposed to the drugs...if it gets to that point, I'm not gonna feel the slightest bit o' shame in screaming for the epidural...)
3. And now the whole cloth diaper thing...
There are other examples of my new-fangled "European-ism" but those are the biggies...guess it just goes to show ya...
On another note, I've got a creeping suspicion that my belly has grown again. G's not completely seeing it so I figured I'd post new belly pics and let y'all tell me what you think.
Do we get to start taking bets on how long you last in cloth diapers? I give it 10 weeks!
