Yup...another day of waiting behind us. Not looking like that's gonna change anytime soon. Apparently my son is so stubborn that even the full moon isn't enough to get him to come out. That doesn't bode well for later in life. Guess that's karma for you, eh?
I've been informed by G's mom that nothing's gonna happen til Thursday at the earliest...apparently because I'm still too "normal" and because he still hasn't dropped low enough yet. We'll see, I'm not sure he's ever gonna drop without some serious contractions creating a little pressure.
And dad's also told me that I'm not "ripe" yet since I don't have a ball on the end of my nose yet. Dad, we'll have to Skype daily now so that you can let me know when I can go into labor.
I've been trying to explain to the BeBe that they'll come in and get him out at some point if all else fails...so far it doesn't appear that he's grasped that fact (or that he particularly cares)...
Oh well, have another checkup with the OB tomorrow morning and then we'll see if the midwives can get me in for my 4th acupunture treatment with some more "contraction point" stimulation.
I love that the baby nametag widget on your blog says that your baby is two days old - another slap in the face!
ReplyDeleteJust had a thought. Maybe just maybe lilschnegg (Axel Williams Olschnoegger) is a red head which we all know are stubborn people, might be waiting on his parents to get his name right before he comes out.
