Well, really we don't know for sure yet. The Schnegglet appears to take after its mother - completely stubborn. Absolutely refused to display the goods during 30 minutes of ultrasounding. No only were there no spread legs, the little shit kept its hands in front of its face the entire time so I didn't even get a decent picture.
So what we've got is a tendency. Potentially we've got a girl. In the words of my OB, "try as I might, I can't find a penis." So maybe we have a girl. Maybe we just have a very prude boy. Maybe we'll know for sure at the next appointment.
I think I might have jinxed myself. Not only was I joking with a friend yesterday about how she was on team pink-ish with her daughter for months, but I've been kinda thinking to myself, "it's just way too early to find out the sex. I'm not really ready to know yet." So maybe instead of a very stubborn child, I have a very intuitive and cooperative baby - in other words, another Dylan. Wouldn't that just be sweet?!?
In other news, my sister-in-law was correct. I apparently had my halfway point last Friday since the ultrasound screen beamed 20 weeks 4 days at me for all 30 minutes. Glad somebody's tracking my progress, eh?
