6-month update

Miles' 6-month check-up ended up coming a few days earlier than planned. Seeing as to how he broke out in a viscous rash all over his entire body. (I have a picture of that even if I again forgot to take a pic of him at the doc's office). So here ya go, this is what an allergic reaction to antibiotics looks like.

No more Sulfa antibiotics for Mr. Miles. (I'm allergic to sulfa too, so I know just exactly how miserable he was – poor guy). In the interest of fairness, we delayed his immunizations so at least he didn’t have to get a shot. :?

Stats wise he’s tracking pretty much along his curves. 75^th percentile for height at 68 cm (26.5”). Almost a full half-inch taller than Dylan was at 6 months, so maybe he got some more of the Schnegg height? And 7.8 kg (17 lbs 1 oz), so 50% for weight. He’s losing his lead on Dylan there…only 4 ounces heavier than big brother was.

I keep telling G that Dylan was every bit as chunky as Miles is but he doesn’t believe me. Just keeps insisting that someday soon Miles is gonna take his brother out. In retaliation for all the stolen toys and taunting. I think he’s probably right. But less to do with weight than to do with the pain tolerance Miles is developing. ;)
